With a first EP baptised “Prosodie” (the emphasis and intonation of languages, but also some versification or music rules), Gofannon immediately highlights its interest for rhythms and languages.

Inspired by the traditional medieval music of the whole of Europe, its pieces naturally present a great linguistic diversity with lyrics in Occitan, English, French and Swedish. 

Stripped of all pretence, these contemplative and warm folk songs carry within them a great authenticity and a privileged relationship with Nature. Samuel Méric, founder of the project in 2016, is now surrounded by a complete training to share with the crowds his sylvan meditations and evocations of the bygone days.
